Basic TEM Course for Industry and Academia

Designed for entry-level users in both industry and academia, this course covers the essentials of TEM, from basic setup to fundamental imaging and data interpretation. Ideal for companies and research groups seeking to build TEM expertise from the ground up.

  • Course Highlights:
    • Introduction to TEM and Its Applications: Learn the basics of electron microscopy and its applications in fields such as materials science, nanotechnology, and quantum technologies.
    • Basic Operation and Safety Protocols: Hands-on practice with microscope setup, alignment, and safe usage.

Advanced TEM Course: Techniques and Data Analysis

Description: This advanced course is designed for experienced TEM users in academia and industry, focusing on high-resolution imaging and sophisticated data analysis methods. Participants will learn to use analytical techniques such as energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) to gather comprehensive material data.

  • Duration: 4 days (32 hours)
  • Course Content:
    • High-Resolution Imaging and Electron Diffraction: Learn advanced imaging techniques and apply electron diffraction for detailed structural analysis.
    • Analytical Methods with TEM: Deep dive into EDX and EELS for chemical and compositional analysis, with hands-on exercises.
